In the event employees are unable to deliver their best performance, the documentation can be used to craft a performance improvement plan. It would help the organization to plan more detailed objectives and with more frequent feedback from the workers who are struggling to perform. Employee performance appraisals have one common objective, but the approach might be different, and that can make all the difference how it is perceived and executed by the staff.
